Red Dead Redemption Review by Spooge

Hey guys, Winston here also known as Spooge and today I am going to review Red Dead Redemption for the Xbox 360.  Let me start off by saying that this is, in my opinion one of the greatest games ever made.  I really enjoyed playing this game from start to finish, and Rockstar did an amazing job in making this game the best it could be.  So if you don't know that much about Rockstar, they also created the Grand Theft Auto series, another great series of games.

Red Dead Redemption takes place in 1911 in the Wild West and follows the adventures of John Marston, an ex gang member who is forced by the US Government to hunt down his former gang mates.  They threaten his family unless he can help them get rid of these criminals.  The game takes place in a huge open world that goes from the Great Plains all the way down to Mexico.  The story is fantastic and will suck you in immediately.  I don't want to spoil the ending for you but it is a very emotional one.

The graphics in this game are phenomenal, and some of the best you will see on a console game.  Both the soundtrack, and the sound effects are also fantastic and help immerse you into the game.  You will enjoy just exploring the massive world.  Overall the Single Player is worth buying the game for anyway.

There is also a fantastic multiplayer component of this game.  It includes Free Roam, where you can roam around the world with up to 15 other people and even complete challenges and level up.  You can unlock new mounts, weapons, titles, and characters by leveling up.  But there is much more than just free roam.  They also have competitive game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag, and Cooperative Missions.  You can also go hunting in Free Roam and complete gang hideouts for experience points.  The multiplayer is very fun especially if you have friends to play it with.

Undead Nightmare

I also highly recommend purchasing the Undead Nightmare add on for 800 microsoft points which translates to $10.  It adds a new cooperative game mode where you and 3 other players fight off hordes of zombies.  The single player aspect of Undead Nightmare is also very entertaining, and also scary.

This is a game you should not miss, it is fantastic in almost every way possible.  If you enjoyed any of the Grand Theft Auto games, you will enjoy this game.

I hope you enjoyed this review guys, my name is Spooge and as always, have nice day and let me know what you think and how I can improve in the comments section.
                                   -<3 Spooge
